The Switch Movie (2010)

In The Switch Cassie Larson and Wally have been friends for the last three years. Though Cassie has always put Wally in her zone of friends all the time she turns to him every time she needs a shoulder to cry on. And being the friend to comfort her does not prevent him from having feeling for her either. However as each has their own life to deal with Wally does not get the opportunity to express his true feelings for her. He is waiting for the perfect moment to put out the things in his heart to relieve himself but when Cassie comes up with a news of her own he gets the shock of his life.

What Cassie wants is not unnatural or weird though. At the age of forty she finds her biological clock is ticking and the only way to have a kid is by finding herself a donor. When she tells Wally the news that she is attending a party where she will meet the perspective donor Wally is not going to miss it at any coast. However things get out of control at the party and when Wally wakes up from a hang up next morning he cannot remember what happened in the previous night. From seven years forward Cassie returns with her son Sebastian and that brings serious doubts to Wally just perhaps that he might be Sebastian’s dad.

That is where all the hilarity and comedy begins as Wally tries to get the hang of the fact and most earnestly convincing Cassie about it. The mishaps and misadventures that ensue will have the audience frolicking with humor as it brings such a joy to watch a comedy of errors taking place in front of their eyes. Jennifer Aniston returns to the big screen after a brief period of missing out in Hollywood and to make the appearance again she has made the perfect and right decision. Her jovial and enthusiastic nature brings so much liveliness to the character and the most commendable fact is all done by being just her herself.

Jason Bateman is the surprise in the movie as by doing a different role and taking a different path from the stream that he is usually affiliated with him is taking a risk. However he is not by any means is getting any damage done to the image as he successfully does the maximum justice to the character he portrays.

The Switch Movie will inevitably draw the fans to the theatres on 20th August for a hamper full of comedy, drama and romance as all those elements combined together brings a devouring movie experience to the laughter seeking audience.
