Mage movie adoption by Lloyd Levin

Lloyd Levin who produced films like Watchmen and Hellboy is planning to bring the theatrical adaptation of Mage the comic book series created by Matt Wagner. The producer had bagged the rights earlier and this will be the co production venture with Andrew Cosby. The development of the project will be by Lloyd Levin himself.

The story of Mage is of Kevin Matchstick a lone young man who discovers that he has super human powers and using them he tries to defeat a ruthless and evil known as Umbra Sprite who has nefarious plans to destroy the human kind. In his adventures Kevin Matchstick is also get super power from a magic baseball bat that brings more strength to his super human powers and abilities.

No details have been disclosed yet about the cast and the crew of Mage but being a talented and multifaceted filmmaker Lloyd Levin is sure to bring a worthy action flick to the movie goers by joining a good cast for the project. With a superhero character whose adventures take place in a science fictional setting this will be a thrill filled joyride to the moviegoers for sure.
