Liam Neeson can be mentioned as one of the highly recognized actors and as he celebrates his birthday on 7th of June fans of Liam Neeson are promised that they will be enabled to see some fine performances made by him in his upcoming movies. He latest film had been the suspense thriller Unknown through which he had his popularity increased since the movie had been a commercial hit. At the moment he has three on going movie projects all which will be released in next year. One production is The Grey which is in post production these days. Another movie is Battleship which is also in post productions. His schedule is currently busy with shooting of Wrath of the Titans in which he will reprise his role as Zeus.

Liam Neeson had been born in Northern Ireland to a family which had nothing to do with acting. However while he was at school he had been chosen to star in plays so it was in his early years itself that he had first got the taste of acting. Though he had developed an interest in acting he did not have the chance to pursue acting as a career much later in his life. After trying his luck in many professions her finally decided on acting and this decision had made him to get involved in stage and theater. After receiving much experience there he had his small screen debut through television series Play for Today and though it was a minor role it had been a fine stepping stone.

Thus with his career as an actor beginning in late 1970s Liam Neeson can boats of an impressive resume which includes character portrayals he had done over a period which spans across more than three decades. One of the land marks in his career had been the main role he did in highly acclaimed movie Schindler’s List for which he received an Academy Award. In addition to being nominated for an Oscar he also has nomination for a BAFTA and three Golden Globe Awards under his belt which vouch for his exceptional and versatile acting talents.
