Green zone Review 2010-war around green zone

There are some words we do not like to hear. War is also word which included to that list. American Iraq war became huge topic and if you are very keen about international news this topic would not be peculiar. Green zone (2010) movie has taken this war in to cinema. This movie based on the Imperial Life in the Emerald City book written by Rajiv Chandrasekaran.

Green zone is the place of Iraq. It is use for international zone of Iraq. It was the center of the Coalition Provisional Authority. This well fertilized zone was most important place for Saddam Hussein’s Ba’ath Party and many political offices. There were number of Saddam Hussein’s palace which found later by American soldiers. Briefly Green zone was a most important place for Iraq.

Imperial Life in the Emerald City book is marvelous and sense book which reveal green zone before the surge by the United States. Because of story value in this book it could won and nominated for many awards such as one of the best non-fiction books of 2006/2007 by Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. Rajiv Chandrasekaran’s book also won the 2007 Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction and the 2006 Overseas Press Club of America award. The director Paul Greengrass has chosen the best book for make in to cinema. He is well experienced director and has done great movies such as The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), United 93 (2006), The Bourne Supremacy (2004), Bloody Sunday (2002). Most of his movies succeed to won many awards as he always try to do some unique movie rather than providing meaningless stories.

The movie plot evolves around green zone in Iraq. This movie takes different aspect for the war. Without providing meaningless pictures Green zone (2010) movie the director success to make notion in fans mind. In 2003 American soldiers including Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller deploy for an important mission to find out pile of destructive weapons uses in Iraq, Baghdad. They believe those weapons are hiding in the Iraq deserts. Two CIA agents try to find and foreign correspondence has following their mission.

This movie has depicted this story with high impression. Matt Damon plays as Roy Miller who is the chief warrant officer and help to senior CIA officer for find out weapons of mass destruction. He portrayed it well. He was played main character in The informant (2009) movie which depicts price fixing tactic. Youth without Youth (2007), The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Ocean’s Thirteen (2007) and The Good Shepherd (2006) are few of movies among his mountain high movies.

Amy Ryan portrayed as Lawrie Dayne who is a foreign correspondent for The Wall Street Journal .She investigates the U.S. government’s claims of the existence of weapons of mass destruction. This will be release on March 12, 2010
