Despicable Me Review
Despicable Me movie review will give an insight to the audience who are wondering the pros and cons of visiting the theaters to watch this comic animation. For any animation movie the creators are always unsure of how it will be received by the audience and especially since an animation is usually a piece of family entertainment it is an important matter that it should be both acceptable and enjoyable to the entire family which range from a youngest kid to the oldest adults. And when it comes to that department however Despicable Me is doing pretty well and with flying colors too.
Everything appears to be beautiful and peaceful in the neighborhood where a black house is located surrounded by white picket fences and rose bushes. But what those poor residents are absolutely unaware of is about the secret hideout which is the home to a super bad villain. Meet Gru the wicked bad guy who enjoys in the most ruthless kind of things. And with the help is army of minions his next big bad project is stealing the moon. Everything goes according to the plan until suddenly Gru becomes responsible for the lives of three little orphaned girls and can he become the super dad instead of being super bad.
The main character Gru is voiced by Steve Carell as the dangerous enemy of the world who has some perilous plans to destroy the world. It had not been an unusual thing for this well recognized comic actor to meet his fans with hilarious roles but this time he does the same thing by staying behind the camera through vocalization. The way he has alters his voice so as to match the role is really commendable and it does maximum justice to the role as well. It is apparent that this artist is never going to be short of future projects.
Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier and Elsie Fisher voice the characters of Margo, Edith and Agnes the little girls who are kept to the responsibility of a rather unwilling Gru. These young talents in a very brilliant manner give life to the characters that they are entitled to and it is evident that this threesome has a logway to go in this industry. The Oscar winner and nominee actress Julie Andrews also among the cast as Gru’s mom and it is always a nice surprise to have the experience of this beloved senior artist.
Thus with the combination of talents extended by three generations the movie Despicable Me has all the correct ingredients that are capable of holding the attention if the onlooker throughout its running time. And this factor is aided by a number of reasons. First the synopsis is far from the average and has that heart rendering quality which some animations lack. On the other hand it also never fails to generate laughter in the right moment and to the right extent.
The opening of the movie which displayed a large amount of audience that included equal numbers of kids and adults proved the fact that the movie has that enviable appeal to all the generations and with the time Despicable Me is going to get the attention it deserves as one of the most funniest and heart warming animations of all the time.
